Tucson's Mexican American Heritage and History Museum opened its doors at the historic Sosa-Carrillo House in 2019. It featured exhibits on female mariachi attire, "Neto's Tucson," Dolores Gonzales Resort Wear, and historic Mexican American families in Vail, AZ entitled, "Ranchos~Vaqueros~Familias." We have paused most in-person, indoor programming due to the Covid-19 pandemic, however have hosted outdoor events including the book release launch for Dr. Lydia Otero's book, Notitas, on syndicated Mexican American columnist and Tucsonense, Alva Torres and a fundraiser for Pueblo Mariachi.

While we are still closed to the general public, as of February 2022, we are working on opening the space up to small groups and hosting outdoor events. Stay posted and visit our website at www.MexAmHistoryMuseum.com.
